Welcome to the web page of James R. Leickly, Attorney At Law. 

I am an attorney who has been practicing in the Central Ohio area since 1986.  The purpose of this site is to give clients, prospective clients, friends or anyone interested (or just plain nosy) a little background about me both professionally and personally - and give you some insight into my background and what I do currently. 

The “Background” section is in a Joe Friday “Just the facts ma'am” format that gives my professional history back to my 1975 graduation from James Ford Rhodes High School on the west side of Cleveland.  (Comedian Drew Carey was in my graduating class and was on the same wrestling team – I’m sure I was probably funnier than he was, but, you know, I just can’t remember him.)  Another section, “Decisions”, gives a small sampling of court decisions that gives a glimpse of the wide variety of matters with which I’ve been involved. 

The “Personal” section moves away from legal to laughter and just lets you meet me, my family and my friends. The "photos" page includes family, friends and experiences. Also included is a regular blog that will give you updates on what is going on personally, professionally and spiritually.
